An amateur production by arrangement with R&H Theatricals Europe
This was the last show at Ferneham Hall for us for a while due to its expected rebuild taking around two years.
Directed by our very own member - Jane Pegler. The stage was dressed on two side scenes, Judd Fry's smoke cabin and the porch of Aunt Ella's house . The rear wall illuminated with projected images and the stage adorned with major props made 'in house' . Homemade they may have been but the overall effects were of a standard to match a professional production. Acting was superb as was the singing and choreography of dancers and townsfolk.
The show saw the very last orchestral leadership by Alan Pring GTCL LTCL for SDMS as he retired from being our Musical Director after some 40 years and 108 shows!
